Cultivation Ornamental Value: average. Care: little. Speed of Growth: very slow. I have grown this palm for 20 years in central Florida just north of Tampa . To date this Palm has only 2 foot of trunk and only holds 4 frond a at a time . I give it very little care , it is pretty much on its own. Grown in sandy soil ,full sun , very little ferterlizer. It does get leaf burn some winters. The lows temp it has seen is about 26 degrees. With good care this should be a great plam to grow . USA[Tampa. Florida ] Langley 2016-03-31
