945 Cultivation Ornamental Value: excellent. Care: very little. Speed of Growth: slow.
I have grown one of these for over 25 years, mostly with only a little morning sun (Western Australia)Requires watering during the hot summer months Growing to over a meter long. Propagation from cuttings generally easy. 2/3 times liquid fertilised annually. Small white fragrant flowers. As the article suggests, one of the best plants for hanging baskets but can become quite heavy.Have it growing in top quality potting mix, must of-course be well drained. I have found that if put into full sun the plant doesn't enjoy it at all, turning pale and stressed. No coastal exposure, in fact quite sheltered.
